PRECIOUS DUTCH WALL PAINTINGS
From mid 17th century to early 19th century, Dutch factories, mostly Delft, specialized in the production of tin-glazed earthenware wall plaques of all sizes, shapes and décors, meant to be hung to embellish interiors.

These fragile paintings always followed the latest fashions: from China, with the blue and white Kangxi porcelains and the colorful Famille Rose porcelains, to Europe, Italian comedy and Dutch landscape paintings, through the Americas with caged exotic birds.
